Yep. If your skill grows slower than your perception, it takes you longer and longer to actually be satisfied with your creations.
I’ve probably spent over fifty hours on my latest comic strip. Every time I think, ‘Oh, I should go work on this thing, maybe publish a strip – this hiatus has been too long’, I find more and more faults with it…
Honestly, I think the main problem with the animation at this point is that it really just highlights how static the rest of the character is. If his tail is waving around, it feels like the rest of him should be moving restlessly or something too.
I really do like your comic. It’s very interesting to look at how making an indie game might work.
